Singer/Songwriter Bliss

At the Dragon’s Egg at 401 Shewville Road, Ledyard, Ct.

Very much the World.  I plan to be there/here – hope to see you!  Marya

Saturday August 29th at 6:30pm join us for a night of Singer/Songwriter Bliss.

CozySpace Productions presents their 3rd Installment of the Everybody I Know Can Be Found Here series at the Dragon’s Egg!!

In this edition we have brought 3 unbelievably talented song crafters to our space in Ledyard, CT just 5 miles from downtown Mystic.

Kenneth Paul Griffin has been creating poetic, dark and heart breaking songs for the past 30+years. He comes to us from NYC, but is a native Dubliner. You can hear the influence of his Irish heritage in many of his past bands, which include his current project August Wells, his 2000s bands Kid Silver and Favorite Sons and the incredible, a favorite, 90s band Rollerskate Skinny!! (on labels Domino Records and Warner Brothers). We’re really excited to have him and can not wait to hear what he brings into the space.

Christopher Listorti is from Old Saybrook CT. He blends his indy rock esthetics with a folky style ‘Elliott Smith’ era 90s influence. His band the Pretty Graves reminds me of a lost Elephant 6 band (look it up!!) and have just dropped their debut record. He is slated to release solo material sometime in the near future. He will be joined by his guitarist and music collaborator from TPG Hollis Dunlap.

Alan O’Keefe, also a native of Ireland, coming up from NY has been making all sorts of different styles of music over the past 30 years. Forming the band Bass Odyssey in Cork Ireland with Graham Finn, they were putting out drum and bass and electronic music in the mid 90s… after involvement in other musical projects in Ireland, he moved to NY in the late 90s early 2000s and formed DesRoar a rock and roll band who played throughout the LES scene. Alan has a new project called Last Man Back, which reminds me of 80s Echo and the Bunnyman meets 90s Britpop turning into something new and exciting!!! He’ll be joined by drummer/collaborator AJ Edmiston who was also in the great Aspera from Philadelphia PA!!!

Please come join us and support live music!

The show is $15 and all ages! All proceeds go directly to the artists.
